Attorney Spotlight: Attorney Matthew C. Curl

Matthew C. Curl is the newest associate attorney to join the Bond & Botes team.

A Birmingham native now based in Huntsville, Matthew serves clients across our Huntsville, Decatur, and Cullman offices, focusing on consumer bankruptcy and bankruptcy litigation.

Matthew is a graduate of the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University, where he served as Lead Negotiator for the nationally recognized Mediation Team and contributed to the Center for Children, Law, and Ethics Journal. Before joining the firm in 2026, he spent a year in general practice in Jasper, Alabama. He earned his undergraduate degree in Philosophy and Political Science, cum laude, from the University of Alabama.

When he's not at the office, you'll find Matthew hunting, fishing, and exploring the outdoors — or cheering on the Crimson Tide in Tuscaloosa. His favorite local spot? Salt Smokehouse.
