Matthew grew up in Birmingham, Alabama and currently resides in Huntsville, Alabama. Matthew is a graduate of the Cumberland School of Law where he served as a regular contributor to the Center for Children, Law, and Ethics Journal and as the Lead Negotiator for the nationally recognized Mediation Team. After a year of general practice in Jasper, Alabama, Matthew joined the Bond & Botes team in 2026. Matthew focuses primarily on consumer bankruptcy and bankruptcy litigation at the firm’s Huntsville, Decatur, and Cullman Offices.
In his free time, Matthew enjoys hunting, fishing, and exploring the great outdoors. When not outside, you can find him cheering on the Crimson Tide in Tuscaloosa.
