Nathan Rester is a native of Brandon, Mississippi and an associate attorney at Bond Botes & Woods, P.C. in Jackson, Mississippi. He attended Mississippi State University, where he received a Bachelor’s in English in May 2016. At Mississippi State, Nathan won the Brasher-Dazey Writing Award and was nominated for the Peyton Ward-Williams Writing Award. Afterward, he attended the University of Mississippi School of Law, where he received his Juris Doctor in May 2019. He was admitted to practice law in the State of Mississippi in September of that same year.
During his time at the University of Mississippi School of Law, Nathan was awarded the Dean’s Scholarship and was published in Gaming Law Review. Nathan has worked with the Office of the State Public Defender and North Mississippi Rural Legal Services, where he spoke as a guest lecturer in an undergraduate class for the University.

Local Charity Participation
After passing the Mississippi Bar, I drafted a comprehensive petition on behalf of Cameroonian refugees for the American Civil Liberties Union. While working with North Mississippi Rural Legal Services’ Elder Law Clinic, I helped organize multiple events aimed at educating senior citizens on the topic of public benefits.
