Employee Spotlight: Debbie Ramey — The Calm in the Storm for Our Clients

Every Bond & Botes office has people behind the scenes who make an enormous difference in the experience our clients have when they reach out for help. This month, we’re proud to recognize Debbie Ramey, whose compassion and dedication impact multiple offices across the firm.

Debbie supports several Bond & Botes locations — including Montgomery, Opelika, Gadsden, Anniston, and Birmingham — helping wherever she’s needed most. On any given week, she may be answering phones for one office, assisting clients dropping off important documents in another, or helping coordinate marketing efforts.

No matter the task, Debbie brings the same thing every time: a genuine care for the people we serve.

The Voice Clients Remember

Many clients contact our firm during one of the most stressful seasons of their lives. Financial uncertainty can bring fear, embarrassment, and overwhelming anxiety.

Debbie has a gift for meeting people right in that moment and helping them feel safe, heard, and understood.

Her colleagues describe her as the “calm in the storm.” Clients share their fears with her, and Debbie has a natural ability to reassure them and guide them toward the next step with kindness and patience.

Sometimes, what someone needs most in that moment is simply a compassionate voice on the other end of the phone.

Debbie provides exactly that.

Supporting Offices Across the Firm

Debbie’s role spans multiple offices, helping wherever support is needed most. She regularly assists with phone coverage for several locations and meets with clients who are dropping off important documents in Anniston. She also helps support the Birmingham office with advertising efforts.

Her flexibility and willingness to step in wherever she’s needed make her an invaluable part of the Bond & Botes team.

Debbie’s care for clients goes beyond logistics or tasks. She genuinely wants the people who contact our firm to feel supported during a difficult time.

Her coworkers often say that no one cares more deeply about the clients we serve than Debbie does.
