We are located just off of Interstate 65 at Valleydale, near Faulkner University, and the Southlake Plaza shopping center.

From the downtown and the Hoover area: Go south on I-65. Exit I-65 south at Valleydale Road (exit 247). Turn left onto Valleydale Road. You will then go through 3 traffic lights and the Southlake Shopping Center will be on the left. Next proceed into the left turn lane and you will see the Southlake Plaza office building just ahead and on your left. Turn left on to Southlake lane and our office is on your right. We are on the first floor in Suite 140, (to the left after you come through the front doors.)

From the Pelham and Alabaster area: Go north on I-65. Exit I-65 south at Valleydale Road (exit 247). Turn left onto Valleydale Road. You will then go through 2 traffic lights with the Southlake Shopping Center on the left. Direction To the Birmingham Court:

This is at the corner of 5th Avenue North and 18th Street. There is street parking available and a parking deck on 18th Street. You will need change for the parking meters if you park on the street. There is a fee to park in the parking deck, as well.

From the Fultondale area: Travel South on I-65, exit at 6th Ave North. Go straight to 5th Ave. North.

Turn left onto 5th Ave. North. Go to 18th Street. Court is on the left.

From the Alabaster area: Travel North on I-65, exit at 3rd Ave North. Go straight to 5th Ave North.

Turn right onto 5th Ave North. Go to 18th Street. Court is on the left.

From the Centerpoint area: Travel West on I-59, exit at 22nd Street. Turn left onto 22nd Street. Go to 4th Ave. North and turn right. Go to 18th Street and turn right. Go to 5th Ave North. Court is on the right.

Make sure you have your Driver’s License in your hand when you enter the courtroom.

Chapter 13 Clients:  At your 341 Meeting of Creditors hearing you will be sworn in and the Trustee will ask you questions about your Chapter 13 petition, under oath. This hearing is also an opportunity for creditors to ask you questions, however, most creditors do not come to this hearing. The following is a list of questions the Trustee may ask:

  1. Where are you currently employed?
  2. Have you listed all your assets or property in this petition?
  3. Have you listed ALL of your debts in your Chapter 13 petition?
  4. Have you transferred or sold any property such as real estate, vehicles, etc., to anyone in the past year?
  5. Are you a plaintiff in a lawsuit or do you have the right to sue someone for money damages?
  6. Have you filed your tax return in each of the last five years?
  7. Are you current on your mortgage payments since this case was filed?
  8. Are you current on your child support obligations since this case was filed?

You will need to bring proof of your Chapter 13 payment, paycheck stub or deposit receipt from Servis First Bank, to your 341 Meeting of Creditors.
