Brad Botes Named A Best Lawyer In America

Our friend and partner, Brad Botes, has been named a Best Lawyer in America. Read about it here . We all know Brad as a man of prodigious talent and his repertoire is extensive; however, tooting his own horn apparently exceeds that talent and repertoire. Therefore, let me offer my humble assistance. This prestigious honor is based upon peer review and the consensus of other lawyers about the professional abilities of a colleague within the same geographical and legal practice area. In other words, this honor is bestowed upon a lawyer who has been recognized by his or her peers as being worthy of such an award. And that is quite remarkable because it is rather difficult to get a group of lawyers to agree about anything!

For those of us who know Brad, such an honor comes as no surprise. For many years, Brad has been my friend and partner. His approach to friendships and relationships is gentle, kind, and deeply caring. I have seen and benefited from this this first hand. His knowledge about the law affecting our clients’ lives and fortunes is virtually boundless. He is constantly and generously sharing that knowledge with all of us who practice with him, e.g., the constant stream of emails about new cases and new ideas to employ in the representation of our clients. He is also a fierce and compassionate advocate for our clients. Yet, he’s always there with a kind word and encouragement for all of us when things may seem to be going the wrong way. He is an inspiration to all of us who practice with him and it is my great honor to call him a friend and a partner.

Brad is more than a committed and professional advocate.  He is also a husband and father. He and his wife, Kaye, have raised three wonderful children. He deeply cares for his community and has spent much time and energy with community projects such as the Birmingham Crisis Center where he is a past president and board member. Last year, Brad was named a Birmingham “Top Lawyer” by B Metro Magazine.
